Firepaw Mini Breeds Treadmill:
This treadmill is specifically designed for small dogs with a height to withers up to 38 cm (15 inches). It is perfect for breeds like:
- Chihuahua
- Yorkshire Terrier
- Pug
- Pomeranian
- Jack Russell
- Patterdale Terrier
…and other mini and small breeds.
The running area is 70 cm long, offering ample space for smaller dogs to exercise comfortably.
Key Measurements to Consider:
- E: Height to withers: The vertical measurement from the ground to the highest point of the dog’s shoulders.
- F: Chest width: The widest part of your dog’s chest.
Why Size Matters:
Choosing the correct treadmill size ensures your dog’s comfort and safety while running. A treadmill that’s too small can limit movement, while one that’s too large can feel overwhelming, especially for smaller dogs. By selecting the right size, you’ll maximize the benefits of your Firepaw treadmill and ensure that your dog enjoys their workouts.
If you need help deciding which size is best for your dog or have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the Firepaw team. We’re here to help you find the perfect fit!

Hello Igor,
Generally you can use large sized treadmill with all the dogs you have but we need to know how much chest width of your biggest dog.
If it is moer than 38 cm we need to make width upgrade.
Greetings,
George

I was looking at the Standard Dog Treadmill on the firepaw site and it had an option for length upgrade but I no longer see that? Is that option still available? if so, how much extra length does it give?

Hello! I am looking into getting one of these for my 2 Siberian huskies (55 pounds and 35 pounds). However I live in USA and when searching these treadmills I found both this EU site and an Etsy site, where is best to buy a treadmill? Which one would likely be best size (assuming standard) and what would the shipping costs look like? (Eastern Washington State)

Hello, i was wondering if you could tell me the weight these treadmills are able to support. I can’t seem to find the information anywhere. I know you are suggesting people size based on height and width but my one dog is over 60kg (over 135lbs). I just want to make sure that he wont tip it over or break the springs, belt, or frame.

Hello,
Firepaw treadmills are made form solid steel and 60kg are not an issue fro the large sized Phonix or Dragon 🙂

I recognize that you list the height and width limitations for both the medium and large “Phoenix” treadmills as will as for the “Mini” treadmills.
Can you please tell me what the recommended MINIMUM weight requirement should be for a dog to be able to operate each size treadmill (mini, medium, and large)?Thank you!
-
Author
There is no minimum weight. The Phoenix model in medium or large size is a very free spinning treadmill and could be used for the smallest dogs.
The mini mill is designed specifically for miniature dogs its spinning effort is little less from the Phoenix model but in general it is for people who need a treadmill just for small dogs. In this case it is the better option in terms of budget and needed space.
